Tania trained in mediation at Harvard Law School's Executive Education Program on Negotiations: Mediating Disputes. Her training in Harvard's Understanding Model of mediation transformed her mediation practice and she credits it to her commitment to encouraging parties to work jointly to resolve their conflicts. She is a certified mediator through her work with a NY community dispute resolution center. Tania is an enthusiastic and perpetual student of mediation techniques and the neuroscience of negotiations. She has completed multiple mediation training courses for excellence in personal injury and advanced commercial mediation including through NYSBA and New York Law School.
Tania is a leader and speaker with NYSBA as Co-Chair of the ADR Committee of the Trial Lawyers Section, as an Executive Officer of the Section, and with NYWBA as Co-Chair of the ADR Committee. She supports the legal community as a Special Master sworn on behalf of the NYS Unified Court System as a mediator at a New York State Supreme Court – Civil Term where she mediates a broad range of cases in person, including breach of contract actions, merger and acquisition claims, corporate shareholder or partnership conflicts, commercial tenant claims and holdovers, and employment disagreements. She also serves as a volunteer mediator through court-based mediation programs for civil cases ranging from personal injury and medical malpractice actions to complex commercial claims. She is featured on mediator court rosters throughout New York City, Westchester, and Long Island and is listed in the NY Statewide Directory of Mediators and the NYSBA Directory of Mediators.
